Account Executive (SaaS) – Inside Sales - Pre-IPO Software/SaaS vendor
My client is a leading Scale-up SaaS business who've recently opened new offices in Reading and are looking for exceptional Sales talent to come in and hit the ground running! This organisation are currently at Pre-IPO looking to go public within the next 18 months!
This is a fantastic opportunity to get in early and be part of the foundation of what will be a dynamic UK / EMEA operation. Well-funded from two massive Venture Capital firms, this company provide innovative solutions allowing the sharing, collaboration and protection of content both in the cloud and on premise and they already have major brand names using their solutions.
As an Account Executive you will be responsible for closing new business at a wide range of small to medium sized organisations. You will drive new business revenue opportunities, generate leads and build your sales pipeline (via outbound cold calling, social selling and managing inbound leads from marketing) and using your consultative sales approach you will quickly build a relationship with the customer, discovering their pain points and delivering solution proposals that meet their needs. This is a sales role which will see you based 95% of the time in the office and 5% on the field.
To be considered you must be a tenacious, proactive, consultative new business sales professional who has a proven successful track record of selling SaaS or cloud based business applications into small to medium size companies. You will need the following to be successful:
- Strong working knowledge of finding, nurturing and closing of business (full 360 sales cycle)
- Previous experience building rapport with C-level decision makers
- Previous experience with CRM software (ideally salesforce.com)
- Brilliant organisational skills
- Team player who can blend in with a healthy, competitive team
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
