Desktop Support Engineer (Windows, Active Directory) | £22k - £25k + bonus/bens | Croydon, UK
One of the country’s leading brands in insurance and FS are currently seeking an experienced IT Desktop Support Engineer to join their lead support team. The company in question have one of the most recognisable brands in UK insurance and are currently in a period of strong growth and expansion within IT.
The role of Desktop Support Engineer will be responsible for providing 2nd line Desktop Support and being responsible for giving technical direction and with a focus of customer satisfaction. You will work with internal stakeholders and 3rd parties across the business on strategic initiatives and provide expert guidance when required.
To be considered for the Desktop Support Engineer you will have:
- Previous Experience working as a desktop support engineer
- Good communication skills including verbal and written
- Experience with Active Directory environment and good knowledge of Windows operating system
- Experience with troubleshooting
- Previous experience delivering a high level of service over the phone
Personality wise you will be a driven, people person, with the ability to lead and develop people in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
