Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Insurance | £140k - £180k + 40% bonus, Car, Benefits | London (City)

One of the worlds leading brands in global insurance are looking to secure an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join their IT team based in city of London. The role of CTO will join an insurance firm with a global brand at the start of a number of years of major transformation.

The role of CTO will support the CIO in his overall strategy for change which involve major core systems replacement, legacy systems transformation, cloud initiatives among others. This is a critical role and forms part of the IT leadership team reporting directly into the CIO. You will have a background of delivery major systems change and be used to working closely with both senior level exec from a business perspective and 3rd party suppliers/vendors.

We are looking for a forward thinking, passionate CTO with the ability to drive a major change agenda! To be considered you will have:

- Previous experience as a CTO or wider IT leader within a FS/Insurance organisation
- Experience of leading and driving major change initiatives
- Ideally experience of working for a FTSE100/250 organisation (or alike)
- Track record of delivery high quality systems and business change
- Strong supplier management experience

Personally you will be a driven and forward thinking problem solver, with the ability to motivate and drive team performance at the highest level. You will be used to working closely (and getting the best out of) technologists, 3rd party suppliers and senior level stakeholders. You will also be used to working in high pressure, fast paced corporate environments.
