Software Project Manager

Salary: £55000 - £80000 + 15%

A leading financial services company is looking for an experienced
Project Manager. This role will involve delivering software
focused projects. The successful applicant will be involved
in the whole project lifecycle & will be responsible for
delivering software & associated hardware on time, to
budget & to agreed quality standards. In addition this
role will involve managing the production of required deliverables,
directing & motivating the project teams & liaising
with & updating Programme Management & taking responsibility
for overall progress & use of resources.
To be successful you will have at least 10 years experience
in IT with at least 4 - 5 years in a Project Management role.
You will have a solid understanding of the Software Development
Life-Cycle & will have proven experience in managing software
projects successfully to time, budget & quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have worked as a Developer or Analyst
prior to moving into Project Management. Experience of managing
third party development capabilities is highly desirable.
Financial services experience is desirable.
