Accountant - Base Budget – 12 Month Contract – Remote & Welwyn Garden City
Are you an Accountant with strong experience in Base Budgeting?
This key new role will see you support the Finance Director at a prominent public sector services organisation om a crucial project. As Base Budget Account you will work closely with a range of senior level stakeholders (up to C level) and department heads to ensure that budgets are completed and re-forecasted in a timely manager on an annual cycle.
To be considered for this role you will need to be a fully qualified accountant (preferably CIPFA) and must have experience in implementing a zero based budgeting / priority based budgeting process from scratch. Alongside this you will also need to bring industry experience from Police, Local Authorities, Health, or Central Government. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are also essential.
