Well established payments fintech has a need for an experienced Channel Manager to join the growing team in London. A great role and would suit someone with strong soft-skills as this isn't an out and out hunter opportunity. Importantly you will have the experience of working with technology partners farming growing accounts – 60/40 farming/hunting
First and foremost you will come from a payments background with full understanding of who is doing what, where and how. If you have understanding of the travel industry too then that would be an ideal to have but no pre-requisite.
You will most likely come with 5+ years' experience selling payment solutions including payment technology and service concepts. You'll be an experienced solution seller, overcoming client problems to close the deal.
You'll understand the whole sales process/journey and comfortable delivering presentations at all levels of clients.
Being a payments sales professional you'll be in-tune with industry news, developments and challenges. Therefore have an awareness of how your clients are responding to this.
You'll be proactive, be a problem solver with a detailed eye for all things commercial. You must come from a B2B background in selling payment solutions. You'll roadmap strategic campaigns and above all be ambitious for success.
