To be succcessful in the role you will be a Salesforce Developer who is proactive, a self-starter, good at problem-solving. You must have experience developing on the Salesforce platform with good hands-on skills in Apex Classes, Apex WebServices (with REST and SOAP standards), Apex Controllers, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Components, Batch Apex and Apex Schedulers. Experience in Custom Settings, Custom Metadata, SOQL, SOSL and Migration Tools is also required and alongside this you will bring a strong knowledge of software development principles such as Design patterns and Modular programming. Exposure to both Service and Sales cloud is preferred and ideally, you should hold Salesforce Certifications, although real-world, commercial experience is more important. Any experience of working in a DevOps environment and using tools such as JIRA would also be advantageous but is not essential.
