Are you looking for a Salesforce Developer role that can offer a great work/life balance, provide you with interesting challenges and give you exposure to cutting edge projects?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing, award-winning Salesforce team at an established, leading financial services organisation. This talented team design, develop and deploy enterprise solutions and you will gain exposure to a number of Salesforce orgs, 5 in total, that support various functions within this business globally. Salesforce is now very much at the heart of this business's tech strategy and you will be involved in the full Salesforce DevOps lifecycle, using your coding skills in Apex and Visualforce to design and develop high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform.

This is definitely an environment where you will have the opportunity to learn and grow your skills and there is even a training budget that will support you gaining Salesforce Certifications. This company also places a huge focus on work/life balance, ensuring there is lots of flexibility on work location and working hours. This flexibility has previously proved a big pull for candidates working in London or in consultancies working long hours, who now want a change of environment and/or to spend less time commuting.

To be succcessful in the role you will be a Salesforce Developer who is proactive, a self-starter, good at problem-solving. You must have experience developing on the Salesforce platform with good hands-on skills in Apex Classes, Apex WebServices (with REST and SOAP standards), Apex Controllers, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Components, Batch Apex and Apex Schedulers. Experience in Custom Settings, Custom Metadata, SOQL, SOSL and Migration Tools is also required and alongside this you will bring a strong knowledge of software development principles such as Design patterns and Modular programming. Exposure to both Service and Sales cloud is preferred and ideally, you should hold Salesforce Certifications, although real-world, commercial experience is more important.  Any experience of working in a DevOps environment and using tools such as JIRA would also be advantageous but is not essential.

In return, you can expect a package of up to £66,500, including a bonus and a superb 12% NON-contributory pension. Other perks include Medical, Life, 25 days holiday, Medical, Life, corporate discounts (gym, etc.) and share scheme. There are also superb Maternity/Paternity schemes (up to 3 months off paid).
