Cross-Train to Go - Software Engineer

This exciting and ambitious start-up is looking for experienced Software Engineers who have experience using technologies such as; C/C++, C#, Java, Python, Scala or Rust to join their team and cross-train to Go.
 
Ideally you will already have a passion for Go although not necessarily had the opportunity to use this commercially, we have a medium sized Engineering team and are looking for the best talent to join the team and be a vital part of our journey. If you have an interest in Data Science that would be an advantage but is not essential. Experience with working in agile teams and CI/CD environments is also beneficial.
 
Culture is very important to us and we are looking for people who fit in with the environment just as much as being technically gifted. You have the option to work from home for up to 3 days a week although the office is a friendly, relaxed and inviting environment. While you’re getting up to speed and cross-training to Golang then you may expect to be in the office a more frequently.

The successful Cross-Train to Go – Software Engineer Will have/be;

·         Experience using any of the following technologies; C/C++, C#, Java, Python, Scala or Rust
·         A passion to cross-train into Golang
·         Cloud experience; ideally AWS but we also use Azure & IBM Cloud 
·         Kubernetes & Ansible
 

Also of Interest:

·         Docker experience
·         A passion for optimization and quality
·         An interest in Data Science
