1st Line Support Analyst – Linux, PL-SQL

1st Line Support Analyst required on a permanent basis for a globally expanding, fast paced and dynamic organization at HQ based in Swindon. As a 1st Line Support Analyst, you will be a key part of a team that collectively deliver a world class seamless 24/7 IT Service Operation support, by effective system monitoring and providing excellent customer service and solving problems through logical thinking. As a 1st Line Support Analyst, you can expect to receive the following remuneration:

- Basic salary of up to £21,000
- Shift Allowance of 20% (2-2-3-2-2-3 Rotating days / nights)
- Annual Bonus of 5%
- 25 Days Holiday, plus Bank Holidays

As a 1st Line Support Analyst, your day-to-day responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

- Ensure that Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators are met
- Perform ‘initial discovery’ on new incidents/demands to determine whether they have an appropriate level of detail as required for further analysis/investigation
- Resolve Incidents and where not possible functionally escalate to appropriate support teams
- Perform pattern recognition/analysis on demands/incidents to highlight trends and pressure points on the platform
- Build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
