Information Security Compliance Analyst

A great new opportunity has become live for an Information Security Compliance Analyst to join a fast growing and ambitious company in the SaaS space.
 
Reporting to the Head of Compliance, this role is to support the ISO 27001 programme in terms of maintaining the Certification and work towards a SOC 2 report. You will sit within the audit and compliance function, which works closely with the legal department so you’ll be comfortable in this environment and have strong administrative and organisational skills. A technical background is also required as there will be regular collaboration with the Engineering team.
 

Responsibilities include:

- Support the Head of Compliance in maintaining the ISO 27001 Certification and working towards a SOC 2 report
- Support the Head of Security in developing the information security policy and ensuring that emerging rules and guidelines are properly documented
- Support the Legal function in reviewing proposed contract terms with information security implications
- Assess proposed third-party solutions and report on their information security provisions
- Conduct audits in specific areas, with the guidance and support of the Lead Auditor

 
 
Requirements:

- Demonstrable experience in a role related to information security
- Technical familiarity with AWS or another cloud provider
- Working knowledge of ISO 27001 or ISO 9001
- Experience taking an organisation through a SOC 2 audit
- The judgement to apply policy, but to challenge policies that are not fit for purpose
- Experience in participating in security assessments, either as a vendor or purchaser

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £50k - £65k and a range of excellent benefits
