Service Delivery Manager – Remote / Swindon

Service Delivery Manager required on a permanent basis for a successful and expanding MSP with offices based in Swindon. As a Service Delivery Manager, you will be tasked with establishing and growing the Service Delivery Function from the ground up. This includes process definition/implementation, building strong internal / external working relationships and continuous improvement plans. As a Service Delivery Manager, you can expect to receive the following remuneration package:

- Basic salary of between £45-65k (DOE)
- Remote Working (With Occasional Office / Customer travel where required)

As a Service Delivery Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

- Manage service delivery calls and requests demonstrating service delivery knowledge with a ‘can do’ and solutions-based approach at all times.
- Work as a key member of a successful Service Delivery team to support the design and deployment of new processes, policies, and agreements

- Build and maintain strong working relationships at senior level

- Build partnerships and liaise with team leaders to determine the company's services, delivery criteria, and solutions for issues that may arise.

- Become acknowledged as a Trusted Advisor
- Manage service issues as required and promote continual service improvement internally and externally

- To ensure contractual obligations are met in terms of the performance and metrics provided to our clients

- Ensure service quality measurements are in place and a service excellence ethos is always promoted.

- Develop relationships with clients and stakeholders responsible for services and incorporate regular site visits with a focus on service improvement and to highlight any changes required with immediate implementation
- Determining ways to reduce costs without sacrificing customer satisfaction.

- Experience dealing with senior management and stakeholders and ability to act as a key point of contact with clients & customers
- Extensive and proven IT technical and service delivery management experience.
- Confident in speaking to clients face to face
- Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills
- Analytical with the ability to write reports
- Prior experience of managing people
- IT service management (ITIL V3) and project management (PRINCE2) qualified, and SIAM would be advantageous.
- Experience building up a function from scratch, implementing new procedures etc is hugely desired
- Experience helping with the design process to ensure that proposed new services & solutions are supportable by our teams
