Technical Lead - iOS

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Senior Software Developer/Engineer who is ready to take the next steps and join one of the most exciting Fintech start-ups. They are a leading Fintech business and have developed a ground-breaking app (iOS/Android), and have huge plans to grow in 2022 with a ground-breaking product.

This application is the first of its kind in the UK market, and this company has the ambition and resources to grow this into a household Fintech product – this would be equivalent to what Freetrade did for the stock market!

They have already launched the Beta version, using an outsourced tech team, and people have used the app to invest over £8m already in just a few months, so the concept has been proved and it’s time to now build that in-house tech team and drive this product forward, starting with the Technical Lead.

The Technical Lead will be the first in-house member of the team, starting from day one you will oversee the outsourced tech team to maintain and update the current beta version. Once up and running, you will then begin to get your hands dirty leading the development of this app and building your own, hand-picked, technical team.

This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for somebody wanting to get involved in shaping a technical team, at the start of what could be an amazing journey of leading the development of a game-changing application in the Fintech space as a Technical Lead.

What we’re looking for:

- You have been a Lead Developer/Team Leader on at least one iOS App project, and you’re ready to take on more responsibility
- Experience in building iOS applications in a Full Stack Developer role, with a good understanding of mobile development challenges
- Hands-on development experience in Full Stack using NodeJS, React, React Native or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with AWS environments such as EC2, EFS, RDBMS, for developing and deploying enterprise-level application
- Knowledge of Linux development environment and bash script
- Extensive experience in multiple JS frameworks for product
- Drupal experience would be great!
- Strong experience in GIT, Bitbucket, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with RESTful APIs

In return for your experience, you can expect a fantastic salary of £80,000 - £120,000, private healthcare, and loads of other great benefits. Plus, not to mention a fantastic opportunity!

The role is a hybrid position, with one day a week in the office in London. There may be flexibility on this for the perfect candidate.
