Business Development Manager – Payments
The Business Development Manager operates as a member of a regional sales team and is primarily responsible for the achievement of sales targets and the implementation of the sales for payments as set out by the management. You’ll be responsible for the driving the sales cycle from initial contact to signing of the deal, and then maintaining a good client relationship – this will be within the banking and financial services sectors.
The successful Business Development Manager - Payments will have/be;
• Proven track record of sales and achievement of sales targets in the banking and financial services sectors with emphasis on the Payments sector/segments.
• Good knowledge around the banking payments industry. For Europe you will need to understand and know what SEPA and ISO20022 is from a payments perspective.
• Understanding of payments terminology – clearing, ACH/RTGS etc.
• Technical skills; good understanding of banking operations and relevant processes – front, middle and back office.
