What will I do day-to-day? Initially you will be working alongside one of our experienced consultants and will be responsible for sourcing and screening candidates that are suitable for our clients vacancies. You will arrange and organise interviews, manage candidates through the recruitment process, provide advice, gather market intel and generate leads. You will also get exposure to client stakeholders, help with account management and attend meetings on client sites. In parallel to this you will be building your knowledge of IT and will start to develop your own specialist candidate talent pool in a specific market or niche. Once you have gained experience you will then start your own business development journey and with ongoing support and training, build your own portfolio of clients. Every day will be fast paced and no two days will be the same!
Who will I get to recruit for? Our Consultants provide talent to clients ranging from small cutting edge tech start-ups to some of the biggest household brand names in banking, insurance, telecoms, retail and engineering.
What training will I receive? As well as learning on the job from consultants with over 10+ years’ experience we have invested heavily in creating a comprehensive module based training programme, giving our consultants all the skills they need to develop into a top recruiter. In addition to this you will also attend external training courses hosted by an industry leading trainer, helping you to really sharpen your skills.
How will you make me successful? Alongside our training you will be given aLinkedIn Recruiter licence, access to industry specific job boards & online advertising, a digital marketing team that can help you run social media campaigns and we have also just invested in the latest video interviewing technology. With all these tools at your disposal and our own in-house candidate database you are sure to be a hit with our clients.
Salary and benefits? What can I earn? As a Trainee Consultant a starting salary of £18k-£21k is on offer plus an exceptional uncapped commission scheme up to 35%. There is also a group share save scheme and when you reach Senior Consultant level other benefits such as Car Allowance also come into play.

We look for entrepreneurial, driven individuals who learn quickly, who have the ability to grasp new ideas and concepts and who are confident, determined, tenacious and who have excellent communication skills. You must be passionate about people, have a positive attitude and will like to have fun whilst working hard! Previous recruitment experience is not essential but some form of sales or marketing experience is preferred.
