Senior Salesforce Consultant – London/Remote
Do you want to make an impact in a new Salesforce practice?
This small global consultancy has recently acquired a boutique Salesforce partner to develop and strengthen its Salesforce capability. The plan is to now invest and build around this brand-new practice and they need top Salesforce talent to accelerate growth and achieve their ambitious plans.
As a Senior Salesforce Consultant, you will play a key, frontline consulting role on a range of exciting Salesforce projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to get in early, make an impact and see your career accelerate rapidly!
The best of both worlds is available here - all the fun, variety and excitement of working in a fast-paced, small, agile team but with the added security and opportunities that a larger firm can offer.
Day-to-day you will be translating clients’ business problems into solutions, leveraging out-of-the-box configuration capabilities as well as overseeing and taking part in the design and build of custom solutions. You will be able to facilitate and run discovery sessions, gather and document requirements, produce user stories and process maps and then use your hands-on Salesforce technical skills to design, build and configure solutions that meet requirements.
Typical project length is currently 6 months but the new projects in the pipeline are double that size, and as part of a large consultancy, they now have the power to infiltrate more enterprise-level clients and expect the projects to get even bigger. As well as the large projects you will also have the variety to work and take singular ownership of smaller concurrent projects across their full lifecycle.
To be considered you will be a passionate and driven Salesforce Consultant or Senior Salesforce Consultant who has proven experience across the full lifecycle of projects. Ideally, you will have a good technical grounding with an understanding of Apex code, data modelling and system landscapes.
Required technical skills;
- Salesforce consulting skills with experience across the full project/delivery lifecycle
- Strong hands-on Salesforce configuration skills along with skills in advanced administration, building flows, permissions and profiles
- Good understanding of query languages such as SQL and SOQL
- Good exposure to development, ideally with some experience in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, Force.com APIs, and use of third-party APIs and web services (not necessarily a hands-on developer but can read and understand code)
- Familiarity with Salesforce Data Loader and third-party integration tools such as Jitterbit (or similar)
- Experience of Salesforce DevOps practices
You will also bring exposure to a range of Salesforce cloud products such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and Communities (exposure to Non-Profit, Marketing Cloud and Pardot is a plus) and will have gained Salesforce Certifications in your career journey to date.
In addition, you must also possess strong client-facing communication skills and you will be organised, proactive and willing to wear different hats in what will be a varied role.
You can expect excellent ongoing training as well as support to achieve further Salesforce Certifications. This consultancy has a flat structure and open culture that allows for good promotion prospects all the way up to Director level (and at this stage of growth they are looking for people to step up fast!).
In return, you can expect a salary of £60k-£80k (dependent upon experience) plus benefits including £5k car allowance, bonus (paid quarterly), private medical, mobile phone allowance, up to 5% matched pension and 25 days holiday. This company has offices in London and Staines and flexibility to visit one of these offices once a week is required (as well as occassional visits to client sites if these are requested)
