Business Development Manager – Banking
An extremely exciting opportunity to join a global leader in payments services as their first Business Development Manager within SaaS Banking, hybrid role (2- 3 days a week onsite in London).
You’ll come from a proven payment’s sales background where you’ll proactively seek prospective merchants and partners, accountable for driving new business development and revenue.
You’ll be the first point of contact for new clients with a core focus on generating processing volume, revenue and margin. You’ll also be responsible for developing and enhancing out current sales strategy, methodology, and revenue generating tools.
Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager – Banking includes:
- Seek new business prospects proactively with a view to selling in the benefit of our products and services
- Contacting prospects through various channels to maximise customer engagement and identify ‘up-sell’ opportunities
- Negotiate commercial and contractual terms
- Ongoing maintenance of the CRM system for accurate reporting, forecasting and pipeline management
- Represent the business at key industry events
- Ability to influence key stakeholders, including executive and C-suite
The successful Business Development Manager – Banking will have/be:
- Proven track record in new business sales with 3 – 5 years experience
- Strong knowledge of the card payments industry, with prior experience in Payments, FinTech, e-Commerce or Payment Processers
- Proven track record of prospecting for new clients, building a pipeline and moving opportunities though the sales cycle
- Ability to influence key stakeholders, including executive and C-suite
In return you’ll be rewards with a starting salary of between £75,000 - £95,000 with a very generous commission scheme and other exciting benefits including a 10% yearly bonus.
