Job Details

Senior Project Manager required by established, market leading global SaaS solution vendor whose products are 100% built on the Salesforce platform.

Due to continued global growth this dynamic company is seeking a driven Senior Project Manager to play a key, client facing role delivering large, complex SaaS implementations.

Why is this Senior Project Manager role different? Well for starters, as well as the UK a number of the projects will be for clients based on mainland Europe. Despite this, the amount of travel and onsite work is much less that you will find at a typical Consultancy or SI, in fact the team travel only c30%-40% with the rest of the time either working from home. Crucially, this good work-life balance has the support of the management team and this is just one of many strengths of this company.

This role will also give you the chance to get to grips day-to-day with Salesforce technology (if you don't already have it), exposure to different customers in different verticals as well as providing the challenge of complex integrations and mobile deployments.

It's an exciting time to join this vendor as they have big plans to accelerate growth initiatives and pursue new strategic partnerships for their market-leading technology.

What will you do? As Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of enterprise SaaS implementation projects. Projects are often complex implementations, involving integrations, middleware and potential partner or other 3rd party involvement so you will be required to utilise your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for yourself and the team (from 2 – 20+ members), and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

To be successful you will need to demonstrate leadership in understanding customer objectives, communicate in an effective and timely manner, set expectations, plan accurately and manage to budget, scope and schedules. Ultimately you will aim to ensure a successful go-live for customers in order for them to gain the long term benefits of using the businesses SaaS solutions.

What do I need to be considered? You must have strong client facing SaaS implementation project management skills, ideally gained working within the professional services team of a solution vendor or consultancy.

You will have ideally led multiple enterprise software implementations for different customers where you have delivered and configured CRM, ERP, Asset Management, Field Service or similar type solutions. You will have experience with enterprise integration platforms (such as Informatica, Cast Iron/WebSphere, or MuleSoft), integrating solutions with Oracle, SAP, etc. and you will ideally have experience with technologies that support SaaS applications, including XML, Web Services, HTML, Java and JavaScript. Experience with Salesforce is highly advantageous but not essential

In terms of verticals, any exposure to customers in healthcare, aviation, manufacturing, oil & gas, telecommunications or utilities would be useful but again these are more of a nice to have.

Alongside this you should have strong stakeholder management skills and excellent communication skills. As well as English, fluency in a second European language would also be advantageous.

Sound Good? This would be an excellent move for someone working at a Consultancy or SI who is looking to cut down on travel, gain a better work life balance and work for an ISV where there are significant growth and development opportunities.

The successful candidate can expect a remote/home based contract and a starting salary of £75k-£100k plus 15% bonus and comprehensive benefits including 10% pension, medical and 26 days holiday.

If you are a Senior Project Manager with strong client facing SaaS implementation experience then apply for this exciting role NOW.
