Java Developer

Having a ‘work from anywhere’ policy, this rapidly expanding mature stage start-up is looking for a Java Developer to play a vital role within their growing team and be heavily involved in the end-to-end application development lifecycle. We are looking for talented people with strong experience of developing sophisticated applications.
 
The Successful Java Developer will have/be:
 

- Strong background in Java Development
- Spring Boot, Microservices
- Cloud experience, ideally AWS but also interested in GCP & Azure
- Experience in developing low latency, GC-free and large-scale systems
- Experience in responsive programming and websocket development
- Relevant experience in optimising applications, improving performance, and increasing fault capability
- Proficiency in design principles, design patterns and automated testing best practices
- Preference for those with relevant experience in microservices design, development, and deployment
- Familiarity with modern development methodologies such as agile development, test-driven development and scrum
