Would you be looking for a new opportunity? We are looking for a Service Desk Team Lead to join a veteran-owned UK SME that provides Cloud services and Cyber Security Solutions across the UJ
As this role is within the government sector you must ALREADY have SECURITY CLEARANCE in place.
This will be a remote position with occasional travel into the Southampton office and salary is up to £40k.
Responsibilities will include:

- Overseeing and managing the daily operations of the Service Desk and Team
- Ensuring the Service Desk provides efficient and effective support to customers as well as maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Setting performance goals, monitoring progress, and ensuring that the team is working effectively together
- Handling complex customer inquiries
- Coordinating with other departments
- Acting as the point of escalation to the Head of Engineering where required
- Training and development
- Performance management
- Incident, problem management, and change management

You will need the following skillset:

- Minimum 2 years of IT Team Lead experience
- SC Clearance
- ITIL Certified
- Strong technical background with a solid understanding of IT systems, Networks, and various Software applications
- Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and Server Support
- Some experience with functional scripting such as PowerShell
