Agile Portfolio Manager
 
Exciting opportunity for an Agile Portfolio Manager to join the DevOps team at a leading financial services organisation.
 
This dynamic DevOps team have embraced many new ways of working, such as Agile, DevOps practices, API-led development, cloud-first, and establishing CI/CD pipelines.
 
The team play a big part in the internal application development and maintenance capability, and now need a dedicated Agile Portfolio Manager to lead the delivery of projects and bring value to the business.
 
As the Agile Portfolio Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying, capturing, prioritising, reporting, and scheduling a portfolio of exciting projects and opportunities as they flow through the various technology stacks of the team.
 
You will ensure project schedules are visible, and that all preparation needed to begin the project is complete. You will be a DevOps and Agile SME, able to advise on best practices and explain how projects are prioritised. 
 
Essential Experience:

- Solid experience gained in a PMO/Portfolio Management role
- Strong experience of working in an Agile / DevOps environment
- Analytical skills and comfortable making data-led decisions
- Team leader – experience motivating and supporting staff
- Good communication and relationship building skills at all levels
- Strong commercial acumen with experience of estimation and project costing

Previous experience of working in financial services is preferred and you will be an enthusiastic, confident, self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary of up £45k-£60k, as well as an annual bonus, and generous 12% non-contributory pension.  Alongside this you will also get 25 days holiday, contribution to private medical a string of further flexible benefits to cover dental, gym etc.
 
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation to be in the office 1-2 days a week– either in Swindon or Fareham, however there is flexibility around this for the right candidate.
